Rejimon Kuttappan is an independent journalist from Kerala, with more than a decade-long experience in reporting stories of migrants working in the Arab Gulf. He was the chief reporter with an English daily in Oman for a decade. He was deported from Oman for exposing the human trafficking of South Asian women domestic workers in 2017 April through his exclusive story. Currently, he writes for Thomson Reuters Foundation, The Hindu, Caravan Magazine, Equal Times, Migrants Rights, The News Minute. He is author of the book "Rowing Between Rooftops: The Heroic Fishermen of Kerala Floods". As part of the fellowship, Rejimon published a report on the plight of Indians who have returned after losing their job abroad due to COVID-19.
