The National Foundation for India is an independent, Indian grant-making and fundraising body, helping people improve their own lives.
We make a difference by supporting partners who look for solutions to complex problems in poor, remote and challenging parts of the country. As our solidarity support to movements, NGOs and social development organizations we provide our Social Justice Hub for meetings without any charges and we support your cause.
However we request you to take note of the following rules:
1.The venue is available only from Monday to Friday (working days) and the meeting timings are 9:30 am to 5:30 pm and beyond this time organizations will have to bear an additional charge of Rs. 500/- for each of our 2 support staffs. This is as per our organizational policy.
2.In case you take Tea/Coffee and Cookies then it is chargeable @ Rs. 750/- for up to 20 people and for more than 20 people it is @ 1000/- and for more there will be a different rate. Mineral water will be on actual costs as per consumption (will be procured from outside). We charge a minimalist amount that will be essential to replenish the consumables in our stock and we are not doing it for any profit.
3.Lunch can be ordered from the available food options i.e. Eatopia at IHC (Veg/Non Veg Chinese Platters /Sandwiches) or from Restaurant Gulab (North Indian Veg-Non Veg Thali) near IHC Market. Our support staff can help you in ordering your lunch. You need to decide the menu and make an advance payment to our support staffs and they’ll ensure that lunch is delivered on time.
4.For the payment of Tea/Coffee, please pay in cash, prior to your meeting date and get a receipt from our accounts (we advise to do this one day before your meeting date so that your refreshment is organized in advance). This is also important to ensure that the meeting room is blocked in your name – as once the food receipt is issued in organization’s name then meeting room cannot be given to any other party.
5.Projector booking charges would be Rs 3000/-
6.In case of cancellation of your meeting please inform at least a week before your meeting to NFI.
1.Kindly bring your own internet dongles/cards for any internet use inside the meeting room along with your personal laptops.Please bring your own stationery Notepad, Pen for the meeting.
2. A white board is already installed inside the meeting room. Organizations can bring their White Board Markers or any other stationary that they require in their meeting.
3. Kindly note that you cannot change the room setting and move our furniture and fixture for your meeting inside the Room.Any banner, standee inside the premises is not allowed.
4. Also the adjoining room next to the Meeting Room is not given for any meetings. That room will be used by our office staffs for our internal/external meetings. All working lunch can be eaten inside the meeting Room and all disposables must be thrown in a bin kept there.
Note: We appreciate silence outside the meeting room. Kindly do not talk on the phone in the lobby area as your loud conversations can disturb others in their work. Last minute booking will not be entertained.
