You can make a difference! The National Foundation for India invites you to join us in supporting meaningful development work across the country. You could:

• Support select programme areas or geographic areas.
• Co-sponsor select programmes of the Foundation.
• Consider the Foundation as an executing agency for a specific grant-in-aid programme meant for non-governmental organizations in India.

The Foundation accepts contributions from corporate donors, charitable trusts, bi-lateral and multi-lateral donor organizations, international donor agencies, non-resident Indians and individuals.

The Foundation is registered as a non-profit charitable trust in India. Contributions are exempt from tax under Section 80-G and 35 I (iii) of the Indian Income Tax Act. It is also registered under the Foreign Contributions (Regulation) Act which enables it to accept foreign contributions.

The Foundation will be happy to provide any documentation supporting our status as a non-profit charitable organization to enable foreign donors to apply for tax exemption.

The Foundation will be happy to provide any assistance to help you plan your contribution.
